Contact us if you are interested in learning more about the Identity Defined Security Alliance.
At the intersection of web, mobile, cloud and the Internet of Things, ensuring that trusted employees, partners and customers can access the right data using the right applications on the right devices is the only way to provide complete enterprise security while enabling fluid, efficient interactions. Traditional identity and access management approaches fall just short of meeting the challenges we face today, such as new user types, distributed apps and a constantly changing threat environment.
The next generation of IAM, Identity Defined Security™ (IDS), puts identity at the center of the security architecture. IDS provides real time, intelligence-based access to data and applications by integrating IAM infrastructure with enterprise cyber security technologies. An identity centric approach to enterprise security allows enterprises to optimize their cyber security investment while controlling risk as IT infrastructures converge.
It sounds like a daunting task, but Optiv has partnered with the leading vendors in cyber security to make this vision a reality.
The Identity Defined Security Alliance (IDSA) is an alliance of solution providers founded by Ping Identity in conjunction with Optiv, as the founding solution provider, to bring an approach to the industry for leveraging identity in redefining the approach to cyber security. The mission of the alliance is to reduce the pain and confusion in creating a best of breed Identity Defined Security platform.
The alliance members will work collaboratively, defining a complete architecture, integrating solutions and documenting best practices and use cases to streamline the implementation patterns. In addition, we’ll collectively create integrated demonstrations and documentation that describe the benefits of the joint solutions.
